What is this?

Quickfind is a "weekend hack" project done for fun. It returns basic information and state for a given summoner name on the game League of Legends.
Additionally, it has made me hate Ruby on Rails and its handling of character encodings.

Public API?

Quickfind exposes a publicly accessible RESTful API: profiles are actually built client side, the server only returns JSON and some HTML.

A managed RESTful API is available to certain people (currently 1044 users. Thanks for over 120 million requests in less than 30 days!
